Polarity and a sprained ankle
Polarity Session -
Polarity really must be experienced to be believed. The best way I can describe the effect of a Polarity treatment is that it opens doors you didn't know were closed.
I was feeling a bit out of sorts, not feeling that anything specific needed sorting, but I was not quite right. I had a single treatment with Andrew and the first thing I noticed was it was just so relaxing, I mean really relaxing. The bodywork was amazing, every time Andrew placed his hands on specific parts of my body I could feel the connection between the two points and the energy flowing between them. The sensation of heat was quite something too.
The bodywork session took about 40 minutes and was extremely relaxing and pleasant, only afterwards was I aware that it had had beneficial effects on physical problems I have had for some time. I have played football for a number of seasons now and last year I badly sprained my right ankle and it has been stiff and painful ever since. Once off the treatment couch I became aware that my ankle was no longer sore and the stiffness had gone and it still feels nice and loose and free now.
When Andrew asked me if I could put into words my experience I found at first it was very difficult to explain it. Sure I was impressed, but what was it that made it so significant and so different from any other treatment I had experienced. All I can say is it really needs to be experienced and it had the effect of opening doors that I didn't know were closed. I had been living with a weak and stiff ankle and had sort of accepted that that was now how things were, not any more. It seems anything could be possible with Polarity therapy. Things seem to shift and that's all there is to it.

Polarity Session -
Whilst I was already in the process of going on a journey, it was Kerry who became my guide. Whether you fully understand/believe in the concept of Polarity therapy or not, it can become the vehicle you use to change things. The bodywork can be amazingly relaxing but for me it was the additional advice, the meditation techniques, even book recommendations which I found equally beneficial. We all need to look after ourselves, and often we need to be guided. As a guide and therapist, I cannot recommend Kerry highly enough.

Polarity helped my Parkinsons
I have been reaping the benefits of Polarity treatment for the last two years, having been diagnosed with Parkinsons disease a year or so earlier. I call Yota my miracle worker as she has been able to stabilise my condition when prescribed drugs seemed to be failing and the symptoms were getting progressively worse.
The body's natural reaction to the tehnique of massage and the easing of movement of the joints and the suppleness returning has given me hope of an extended period of normal life. Long may it continue?

I feel that I would like to let you know, for the record, how my treatment programme is progressing. Initially, Yota began my remedial course with acupuncture. As my knees had been deteriorating in strength and flexibility over the last thirty years due to osteo arthritis, I considered that I would have to wait for months for the pain to subside and any benefits to be noticed. However, to my relief and delight, I was from the very first visit able to move and articulate the knees without pain. This continued with four weekly subsequent visits with other benefits accruing, such as my sleep pattern improved and generally a better standard of health.
Yota then suggested a combination of acupuncture and polarity treatment -
In time you wished to try polarity without acupuncture -
The changes in treatment were always appropriate and of benefit to me accordingly -

Polarity Sleeping better

Before the session the client complained of not sleeping, feeling totally out of balance, was worrying, and felt very 'out of sorts'.
After the Polarity session this is what the client said:
“I have been sleeping really well and not waking in the night

I seem to have got my positivity back and have a lot more energy”
I have seen the client for a second session recently, and things are still in balance and working well, the client is still sleeping well, and seems much happier in general.

I have had four sessions of polarity from Graham spread over a four-
In the first session, I felt completely relaxed almost to point of being asleep and was vaguely aware of Graham’s hand being somewhere above my abdomen; very suddenly I felt what seemed to be a tight circle across my abdomen followed swiftly by a deep feeling of loss that took me from deep relaxation to tears of extreme sadness. This was then followed by a huge feeling of relief.
Equally strong experiences, such as pain moving around the body and then being released, occurred in all sessions but each time in a different way. The aim was to help deal with an issue of fear associated with an unpleasant event in my childhood. This fear has recently been linked in my mind to all sorts of unlikely negative outcomes in unrelated areas and so was acting as a block in my life and seemed to possibly be linked to chronic exhaustion.
As a result of the therapy I definitely feel more energised and, more specifically, the past event in my life has been removed from the forefront of my mind to an event which happened but which is no longer a problem. A very powerful therapy despite the fact that you feel as though you are doing nothing but relaxing in a pleasant room listening to music!

Polarity and Tennis Elbow

After exhausting all conventional methods of treating this condition Kathy, who works as a nurse, turned to Polarity Therapy as a last resort and was surprised by the permanent alleviation of pain achieved.
She says "Eight months ago, I began getting a terrible pain in my right elbow. As time went on, the pain got worse, so I visitted my GP. I was diagnosed with Tennis Elbow and sent to see a Physio who gave me an elbow support to wear. After several weeks it was clear this was not helping and as the painful elbow was now affecting my work I went back to see my GP. He advised a cortisone injection into the affected site. I was not keen but thought it may be my only option. the deed was done on a thursday morning, I spent a very painful day and night and by friday could not move my arm at all. My husband took me to A&E at a local hospital and I was told "perhaps the injection had been done incorrectly". I was given a multitude of painkillers and sent home.
By this time I was at the end of my tether when a friend recommended Polarity to me. To be perfectly honest I was not a great believer but thought I would give it a go as I had nothing to lose.
When you began the work on my elbow and arm I just "went with it" and kept my fingers crossed. After the treatment, although my elbow felt very warm, the pain was still there and I thought "oh well, it was worth a try".
You told me it may take a while to work but I must admit to feeling slightly disappointed. HOWEVER, day 4 after my treatment, I got up for work and BANG, it hit me like a sledgehammer -
I can now say I am a true believer in Polarity Therapy and would not hesitate to seek this treatment for any other problem."
